This FAT file system is written in ANSI C, and used on an NAND flash media type, for which the user can provide basic hardware access functions. The NAND flash driver supports a wide variety of chips, including SLC and MLC technologies. It supports addressing for both small page and large page devices. It provides fail safe operation even in the case of an unexpected power loss. Its comprehensive wear levelling insures protection against erase, write and read disturbance. Device driver for NAND flash media type is written with a layered structure so that it can easily be ported to hardware. Device driver structure is simple. uC/FS footprint is scalable to contain exactly the features required for an application. Product line license allows licensee to embed one or more software component into an unlimited number of different Single Products, each of that perform a similar function
