**Overview:**

FCI offers a wide range of SAS plug and receptacle connector configurations with vertical or right angle options, for use in servers, storage blades, backplanes, HDD carriers and HDDs.

Most backplane connectors also feature stamped retention clips that provide additional mechanical strength for robust PCB attachment, and different termination type namely, through-hole solder, press-fit or surface-mount.

FCI"s SAS connector system is designed for hot plugging and blind mating of HDDs. FCI SAS product is capable of up to 12 Gb/s data speed based on SI tests performed.
