The is a 5000LB Lever Press, a larger capacity bench mounting press with a 300mm throat depth and 5000lbf ram pressure for increased scope in metal working and equipment fabrication, the press has a strong double frame construction made from frame cut steel with a hand operated lever transferring power to the ram via a rack and pinion mechanism, a ram limit stop determines cutting depth, safeguarding against tool and material damage, a chute for removing off-cuts is supplied with the press, plus a bracket to hold the operating lever in a convenient rest position during tooling adjustments, a range of cutting and forming tools, dedicated to the press are available for working larger sheet materials, any tool may be rotated through 90° so that material can be worked along two axes, the press includes fixing bolts, nuts and brackets for bench mounting, 127mm stroke length.
