The is a quasi low dropout LDO linear voltage regulator in 3 pin SOT-23 package. It features 30V input voltage and an ensured maximum dropout of 1.2V at full 100mA load. The LM3480IM3-5.0 is intended as tiny alternatives to industry standard LM78Lxx series and similar devices.
