Wire ferrules are used to terminate stranded wires, for use with European style terminal blocks. Standard sized ferrules with molded insulators formed to accept two wires are available in both DIN Deutche Industrie Normen-German and Weidmuller brand color coding, there is no difference other than color for a given ferrule size. The DIN Deutche Industrie Normen-German code is the most widely used and accepted.
