is a compact, reliable file system driver with platform license. This FAT file system is written in ANSI C, and used on an NAND flash media type, for which the user can provide basic hardware access functions. The NAND flash driver supports a wide variety of chips, including SLC and MLC technologies. It supports addressing for both small page and large page devices. It provides fail safe operation even in the case of an unexpected power loss. Its comprehensive wear levelling insures protection against erase, write and read disturbance. Device driver for NAND flash media type is written with a layered structure so that it can easily be ported to hardware. The device driver structure is simple. The uC/FS footprint is scalable to contain exactly the features required for an application. CPU type/Platform license allows the licensee to embed a component into any number of end products using a single and specific processor type.
