Evaluation Module
The is a full-featured Evaluation Module EVM for the operation of the ADS8481 analog to digital converter. The EVM has an on board signal conditioning circuit consisting of a THS4031 operational amplifier. With this amplifier the incoming signal can be range scaled, filtered, and level shifted. Not including the reference inherent to the ADS8481, two references are available; one produced by on board reference U1 and second by connecting a voltage to terminal P1. The ADS8481EVM can be plugged into various motherboard interface boards from Texas Instruments.
