Tubular Solenoids are available for DC power applications. Continuous-duty units can be energized indefinitely. Intermittent-duty units offer higher pulling power, but can only be energized for a maximum of 180 seconds, and then they must cool for a minimum of 540 seconds. The middle letter of the Mfr."s Type indicates the Continuous or Intermittent-duty cycle. Guardian tubulars come with mounting hardware, nut, and lockwashers.
