The from is a 45V VIN, micropower, 200mA fixed output low noise low dropout LDO linear regulator with active output discharge in 8 pin DFN package. The device supplies 200mA of output current with a typical dropout voltage of 300mV. A single external capacitor provides programmable low noise reference performance and output soft start functionality. The device"s quiescent current is 45µA and provides fast transient response with a minimum 3.3µF output capacitor. In shutdown mode, quiescent current is less than 3µA and the reference soft start capacitor is reset. The LT3063 features an NMOS pull-down that discharges the output if active-low SHDN or IN is driven low. Internal protection circuitry includes reverse battery protection, reverse current protection, current limit with foldback and thermal shutdown. It is typically used in battery powered systems.
