The is a ready to use PCB that features M24LR16E-R dual interface EEPROM connected to an I2C bus and a 13.56MHz etched RF antenna. The M24LR16E-R device is a dynamic NFC/RFID tag IC with dual interface EEPROM. The ROBOT-M24LR16E-A features two LEDs, powered by the M24LR16E-R VOUT pin and an output connector. The board has three functions which includes switch in the LED position, here the robot demonstrates energy harvesting by powering the LED when a sufficient magnetic field is captured, switch in the VOUT position, here the energy captured from the electromagnetic field is used to power an external application through the Vout pin, RF WIP/BUSY function, here when M24LR16E-R is configured in the RF write in progress mode RF WIP mode, the RF WIP/BUSY pin is driven low for the entire duration of the RF internal write operation. When configured in the RF busy mode RF BUSY mode, the RF WIP/BUSY pin is driven low for the entire duration of the RF command progress.

To demonstrate the energy harvesting function, the ROBOT-M24LR16E-A can be used in conjunction with DEMO-CR95HF-A demonstration board, sold separately.
