The EVAL-ADXL642Z is a simple "breakout" board that allows quick evaluation of the performance of the ADXRS642 angular-rate sensor gyroscope. The ADXRS642 is a high performance analog output gyroscope featuring yaw rate sensing and excellent immunity to vibration and linear acceleration. The small size of the breakout board makes it easy to mount the gyroscope to an existing system without the need for additional hardware and with minimal effect on performance of the system and of the gyroscope. The ADXRS642 is a complete angular rate sensor gyroscope that uses the Analog Devices, surface-micromachining process to make a functionally complete and low cost angular rate sensor integrated with all of the required electronics on one chip. The manufacturing technique for this device is a patented high volume BiMOS process with years of proven field reliability.
