The is an evaluation module for LMP8481 76V precision high side current sense amplifier. The LMP8481 is a precision high side current sense amplifiers that amplify a small differential voltage developed across a current sense resistor in the presence of high input common mode voltages. This amplifier is designed for bidirectional current applications and will accept input signals with common mode voltage range from 4V to 76V with a bandwidth of 270KHz. Since the operating power supply range overlaps the input common mode voltage range, the LMP8481 can be powered by the same voltage that is being monitored. This evaluation module is ready to connect to power, load and test instruments through the use of onboard terminals. It comes preassembled with the LMP8481 device, 0.10 sense resistor, bypass capacitor and connection terminals installed. This bidirectional evaluation module include the JP1 and JP2 reference jumpers and terminals.

This device has limited built in ESD protection. The leads should be shorted together or device placed in conductive foam during storage or handling to prevent electrostatic damage to MOS gates.
