The is a Hand Crimp Tool, used to crimp SOLISTRAND and STRATO-THERM terminals and splices onto stranded wire sizes 22 through 16AWG. Each tool consists of a CERTI-CRIMP tool ratchet and two crimping jaws indenter and anvil containing one, two or three crimping chambers. Each tool is marked with the wire size range for each crimping chamber.

Crimping dies bottom before the ratchet releases. This is a design feature that ensures maximum electrical and tensile performance of the crimp. Do Not re-adjust the ratchet.
