The is a 84-way surface mount Chip Carrier Socket with tin-plated copper contacts, compatible with automated loading equipment. This 8400 series socket is glass filled polyphenylene sulfide PPS insulated, accepts chip carriers conforming to JEDEC outline MO-047 for square and MO-052 for rectangular, open top design allows unrestricted air flow. High temperature insulator compatible with IR reflow and wave soldering.
