The from Products is a low power, 1% accurate battery monitor in 5 pin SC-70 package. This low power device is ideal for monitoring single lithium-ion Li+ cells or multicell alkaline/NiCd/NiMH power sources. It offers single low battery output and factory set hysteresis of 10%. Hysteresis eliminates the output chatter some times which are associated with battery voltage monitors due to input voltage noise or battery terminal voltage recovery after load removal. It has an active-low output that asserts when the input falls below a set voltage. It is used in battery powered systems, cell phones/cordless phones, pagers, portable medical devices, PDAs, electronic toys and MP3 players.
