The MSP430 family of ultra-low-power microcontrollers consists of several devices featuring different sets of peripherals targeted for various applications. The device features a powerful 16-bit RISC CPU, 16-bit registers, and constant generators that contribute to maximum code efficiency. MSP430BT5190 is a microcontroller configuration with three 16-bit timers, a high-performance 12-bit ADC, four USCIs, a hardware multiplier, DMA, an RTC module with alarm capabilities, and 87 I/O pins.

The MSP430BT5190 microcontroller is designed for commercial use with TI"s CC2560 based solutions in conjunction with Mindtree"s Ethermind stack and SPP.
