The GP series Safety Switch is used to protect personnel by monitoring and interrupting the safety circuit depending on the position of the machine guard. To meet current worldwide standards, safety interlock components cannot be easily bypassed. These switches have positive opening contacts and redundancy to guarantee that they fail to a safe state. It has a narrow plastic housing and variety of actuators makes this series ideal for today"s installations. The standard aluminium profiles are often used for safety guards. These are becoming increasingly prevalent due to the ease of installation. EUCHNER GP safety switch has the 40mm width and can be secured flush to the barrier. The safety switches are safety-related machine control components in accordance with EN 954-1 and BGI 575. They are designed to safely interrupt the safety circuit or to prevent operation until any danger to the user has been eliminated. It can easily be changed to any 90° position for the approach direction.
