GPS is short for Global Positioning System. GPS8100-S module is a new ARM based embedded GPS module based on JRC GPS receiver module G591 which allows to connect to Devkit8000, Devkit8500D and SBC8530 boards to get position and altitude. The GPS8100-S module has a tiny patch board which can connect to Embest board through the UART the serial port from the expansion connector. It is a high sensitivity module with low power consumption.
