With this omni-directional antenna, the wireless field is concentrated at 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz in the vertical plane of the antenna. The antenna has a gain of 6 dB and 8 dB respectively. N-Connect is used as the connector and can be connected to SCALANCE W over an extension cable from the range of IWLAN cabling. The antenna characteristic is such that good transmission properties also exist directly above and below the antenna. It is designed for mounting on a control cabinet or roof, but it can also be mounted under a roof, so it is suitable, for example, for the mobile units of an automated guided vehicle system.
