The is a low profile fan Filter Assembly designed for use with both 80² PAPST axial fans. In both cases, the filter assemblies mount directly on to the existing fixing locations. It is a compact design yet very robust for where space is at a premium. The assembly consists of 4 parts an outer cover, a filter pad, a mesh screen and a finger guard. The cover, mesh and finger guard are moulded in Zytel nylon resin. The inclusion of finger guard as part of the assembly will allow the filter medium to be changed without the equipment having to be switched OFF. The pad is manufactured from polyester type KS-22. The KS-22 pad will achieve 60% dust particle retention and is heat resistant to 100°C. A reduction in airflow of around 10 to 30% can be expected in some applications when fitting the filter assembly.
