The is a quad SPST CMOS analogue switch in 16 pin DIP package. This switch can handle rail to rail analogue signals and the off leakage current is 5nA maximum at TA = +85°C. The MAX4662 is ideal in low distortion applications and it is preferred solution over mechanical relays in automatic test equipment or applications where current switching is required. It has low power requirements and requires less board space. This analogue switch is more reliable than mechanical relays. A separate logic supply pin provides TTL/CMOS logic compatibility when operating across the entire supply voltage range. It is used in audio signal routing, ADC systems, PBX, PABX systems, sample and hold circuits and data acquisition systems.
