The is a 5th order low pass, switched capacitor filter in 8 pin µMAX package. This is an elliptic low pass filter provides sharp roll-off with good stop band rejection. It operates with a 100:1 clock to corner frequency ratio. Two clocking options are available on this device, self-clocking through the use of an external capacitor or external clocking for tighter corner-frequency control. An offset adjust pin allows for adjustment of the DC output level. It uses an alternative approach which is to emulate a passive network using switched-capacitor integrators with summing and scaling. It is used in DAC post filtering, air-bag electronics and CT2 base stations.
